Anchor at the head of the bay with line ashore. Open to South.
There are so many Anchorages around the island that they are too numerous to mention. Few have little to offer ashore except a deserted or near deserted beach. because of the steep too coast all offer good shelter depending on the prevailing weather and if one bay is not satisfactory for the forecast then a short sail will find one that is.
Many of the anchorages are over sand and or small stones with the holding good but some are larger stone so a trip line would be advisable. Also some are foul with fishing gear. fortunately the water is usally very clear to aid you anchoring
With the steep too coast it is possible in many bays to anchor and run a stern line ashore, take precaution agaist chafing if stay for any length of time.
